The prodigious decade
By Carolina Ruiz
I have 30 years and a half and I love it because through my childhood (not me) was developed at a prodigious decade, the 80's, where being a 'ballot' was not a sin but a blessing. So I thank my parents for not having deferred 'gustico' a few years and have brought me to the world December 1, 1979.
What I am, what I am and what I intend to be, I owe in part to that time. How can we forget that with Menudo, General'm the queen of choreography. That no party in which no rings and leave Meneito like crazy to lead the line, or output of 'iron' which I do not dance 'Clarity' Menudo or 'Don Diablo Miguel Bosé, not counting those wonderful songs that were forgotten in a jukebox like "there goes Villa, up, up Pancho Villa ... ohohoh "and dance without any problems.
In my memory there are those nights when my parents allowed me to watch TV till late, with one eye in the hallway of the apartment and another in the display, see El Show de Benny Hill was thinking that was the most daring . Of course, after the Hinojosa can remove the blindfold from his eyes.
Nor can I forget the freedom of children had. I lived (and how little I grew up) in a unit that was on the outside green areas in which we played without fear. We ran from one side to another, calmly walked through the field to go to the store farthest from watermelon (I think some will say, 'pen') to the hidden, as our mothers told us was made with tap water.
addition, I am part of the transition generation who enjoyed playing with dolls, hiding, struck out, that shook when the first boyfriend dared to kiss her cheek and taking the boy's hand was like reaching heaven.
But I am also of those who had access to the first video games (# yoconfieso that the only thing I played was Atari 2600 because my fine motor control prevents me from driving over a button), who used a typewriter and then move to the brand new computer and thanks to that today bungle in this sea of \u200b\u200btechnology .
I can not imagine growing up in the 90's or in the chaotic 2000 where shyness is in danger of extinction, where only the cheeks turn red with embarrassment when the paint where reggaeton is a species that was fucking dance worse than our forbidden dance (La Lambada he arrived, stuck and was).
proudly say that thanks to The Care Bears, The Smurfs, Jem, Nubeluz, The Maya Bee, Captain America and many more, I still keep some ingenuity, some illusion that makes me always look that way good, he had villains like Gargamel, and was well hidden.
So, as I wrote above, what am I owe in part to the prodigious decade. So any complaint, compliment or suggestion # laculpaesdelos80.
